Mallory Brooks, Director of Communications + Administration

Mallory’s only claim to fame is that she was on a Hollywood soap opera as a baby. Since then, she’s slowly moved east—first to Memphis, then to Knoxville, and now Greenville. While in Knoxville, she went to school at UT, where she graduated with a Child and Family Studies degree. Mallory moved to Greenville in 2013 to work with RUF at Furman University and has been in Greenville ever since.

Mallory keeps things running at G&P—sending emails, scheduling events, and paying attention to all the little things. When she’s not working, she’s probably cooking, reading, or thrifting.

Laura Koelle, Music director

Laura Koelle (rhymes with "roly poly") moved from Chicago in 2009 to pursue a career in music in downtown Greenville. She performs in several area symphonies, including the Hendersonville Symphony and Brevard Philharmonic Orchestra. Laura is half of a cello-guitar duo, "WireWood," that performs regularly in and around Greenville. Laura is wife to J.T. (not Justin Timberlake). She's also the proud dog-mom of one very special pup: Fern.

MARYFRAN ANDERSON, Children (ages 0-5)

MaryFran is a lover of Jesus, her family, and guacamole. She grew up in Austin, Texas, but went to college at "the other UT" in Knoxville, Tennessee, where she met her husband, Will. They have moved quite a bit in their marriage, but are happy to be back in Greenville and especially thankful for the community of Grace & Peace. MaryFran currently spends a lot of her time with children as she works at Parkside Pediatrics, coordinates the Grace and Peace nursery, and has two daughters, Charlie and Gray.

She would love to discuss ways we can grow in teaching, loving, and protecting our children during our Sunday service and beyond.

Jonathan Allston, pastoral intern

Jonathan's greatest regret in life is that he has not learned to speak French despite spending the first 11 years of his life in the francophone nation of Togo, West Africa. He redeemed himself by marrying well. He and his wife, Lacey, have three young children (Robert, Lila, and Wesley). Fluency in French remains on Jonathan's bucket list. Jonathan's education credentials include a MA from Wheaton College (IL) and four years of college in northern Wisconsin that were the basis of the film, The Revenant

When not on intern duty, Jonathan works for a software company as a technical writer. In his free time he enjoys reading, non-technical writing, and Clemson football, but most of his energies go toward trying to learn to be a husband and a dad and trying with little success to win a few board/card games against his wife.

In keeping with the intern standards of conduct, Jonathan enjoys coffee and beer and would gladly have either with you. Contact Jonathan at

Kate Key, bookkeeper

Kate is originally from Augusta, Georgia, and attended Furman University. Several years after graduating, she and her husband, Sims, moved to California to be part of a church plant and returned to Greenville in 2011. She's the mom of three blond-ish children: Ansley ('09), Charlotte ('11) and Curtis ('15). While she enjoys running, reading and cooking, a lot of her time is spent trying to keep her children alive.
